Telluride Ski Resort

Telluride is home to one of the most unique world-class ski resorts in North America. The Ski area stretches between the town of Telluride and the Town of Mountain Village with over 2000 acres / 8 km2 of terrain accommodating for beginner, Intermediate and advanced skiers alike. Telluride ski resort is truly my favorite ski resort in Colorado and I say that from my personal experience after living in Summit County, Colorado for 15 years and experiencing other ski resorts like Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail and Beaver Creek. What makes Telluride so unique and favorable is the consistent short lift lines where a day of skiing is actually spent on the slopes and not waiting inline for hours especially during holidays and special events.

Telluride Ski Resort opened in Dec 1972 launching an industry that transformed telluride from a simple mining town to a world-class resort destination and redefined the local economy and reshaped Telluride's character.
